Welcome to the newly launched website DOGSMALAYSIA.MY - official website of The Malaysian Kennel Association. Over time our aim is to make this website, 'THE' website for all issues canine in Malaysia!

Some of the sections of this website are still a work in progress, so please bear with us, as we complete everything. In due course MKA members will be able to use our online services too to make their dealings with the MKA seamless and easier! The MKA is proud to announce that we have been invited to send a representative in 2011 for this prestigious event held in December in Long Beach California, USA!!! We are currently working out the local terms and conditions, so keep checking our website for more details of how to qualify for this and become the Malaysian Representative in 2011!!

There is a new format Berita Anjing that is due out in November 2011. This will be a packed bumper issue of the combined Sept/Oct & Nov/Dec issue. In following international publishing practice, from henceforth the Berita Anjing will be published at the beginning of the stated period and not the end as was previously practiced. For example, the Jan/Feb issue will come out at the beginning of January and will cover the period of events which took place in Nov/Dec. There are also some new fantastic advertising rates - so hurry and book your advert space! Rates are listed below.

The MKA is proud to be hosting 4 shows on the 27th and 28th November 2010, featuring 2 FCI shows with International CACIBS on offer, as well as an AKU show and an All Breeds Championship Show. Come and join in the fun at Level 3, Galaxy Mall Ampang, Jalan Dagang 5, Selangor. We are proud to have a panel of 4 international judges from Thailand, South Africa, Canada & Australia.

FCI & AKU shows for 2011 will be on the 26th & 27th of March and 24th & 25th of September. Once again it will be a weekend of 4 shows with CACIBS on offer, with a full International panel of judges to be announced in due course. Even more activities during these shows are in the pipeline with Obedience Trials and other fun canine activities planned for MKA members and dog owners alike. Junior Champion title

Effective 1st January 2017, the MKA will be introducing the Junior Champion title for dogs entered in the Puppy and Junior Classes (6-15 months old).

Malaysian Champion title

The qualification for Malaysian Champion title is now only available to dogs entered in the Intermediate, Open & Veteran Classes PLUS dogs entered in the Malaysian bred class over the age of 15 months.
